Haven't heard of that Lovecraft movie, just added it and a couple others to my netflix, Cool Air & Dreams of Cthulhu Rough Magik Initiative, plus the doc, Lovecraft Fear of The unknown which I didn't even know it was released yet, been waiting forever.

Satan's Wife **

First I have to mention the very poor MYA dvd, it's basically a VHS source, it's watchable but the quality is pretty shitty. I've been reading this a lot about MYA releases lately. Also there is an Italian language option but no English subs, thanks MYA. The plot centers around a women who made a packed with the devil and is regretting it and her teenage daughter (Daria) is showing signs of powerful witchcraft. The plot is promising but the film is mediocre. The music is pretty cool although redundant at times.

was in the mood for some more Italian stuff....

House By The Cemetery 8.5/10

Nightmare City 7.5/10

Seven Bloodstained Orchids 9/10

Torso 8.5/10

off to watch Don't Torture A Duckling now.

and later, back to the US of A and one I've not seen before (but been meaning to watch forever), Dead And Buried. Hope I haven't built up too high expectations over time. we'll see.

Yay!.....i knew Troll was a safe 80´s bet with you, but i´m also glad that you enjoyed PN II.....i get a kick out of unassumingly discovering little gems within horror franchises that one might deem to have crashed and burned a la Howling V, [Amity-hey, wait a minute! ] and others.

oh yeah, plus you can look at this in a wider context too of discovering buried treasures/buried trash in general, always been one of things I've enjoyed most.

Dead & Buried is a cool film, just a shame that the director´s cut has never surfaced.
